CAC sets up Central Service processing Center for flood-damaged vehicles

-

MANILA, Philippines - Columbian Autocar Corporation (CAC), authorized distributor of Kia vehicles in the Philippines, has teamed up with its Korean principal, Kia Motors Corporation, in setting up a Central Service Processing Center (CSPC) to serve as clearing house and dispatch center to facilitate the immediate repair of flood-damaged Kia vehicles.

The CSPC is housed at 100 E. Rodriguez Jr. Ave. Libis Quezon City, and is open from 8 am to 8 pm. Monday to Saturday, to process and refer all typhoon-damaged Kia vehicles to the nearest authorized Kia service center. Areas covered include Metro Manila and the surrounding flood-affected areas. The service hotlines are 0922-82499830, 0922-8249831 and (02) 568-4142.

The setting up of the CSPC is only one in a series of emergency response moves that CAC has done to assist Kia car owners, especially those whose vehicles have been severely damaged by the floods spawned by typhoon Ondoy, to cope with the current situation. The other measures include the 50 percent discount offer on the cost of Kia parts and the P50,000 off on the price tag for the purchase of a new Kia unit. As a corollary offer, a special fund subsidy is offered to Kia vehicle owners who will trade up their old Kia cars for a brand new unit.

Felix J. Mabilog, Jr., president and COO of CAC said that the current emergency has already caused untold suffering and misery to countless thousands who have been rendered homeless and hungry, a great number of them Kia owners, and it is only human to assist and help them cope.

“We cannot add more to the pain, injury or depression the typhoon has caused our motoring public and customers. Kia truly cares and offering this assistance to Kia vehicle owners by way of discounts and immediate emergency vehicle repair is a way of mitigating the unfortunate turn of events,” Mabilog says. “We are ready to extend help the way we know best, and that is to render damaged Kia vehicles serviceable and mobile again,” he adds.

A reimbursable towing service fee not exceeding P2,000 will be extended to Kia owners with damaged vehicles from their place of origin up to the Kia authorized service shop. Engine oil filter and air cleaner element will also be given free to the first 100 Kia owners of each current Kia model (2006-2009), who bring their flood-damaged cars for servicing at Kia’s authorized service shops.

Participating Kia Service shops include: Alabang, Congressional, Fairview, Mandaluyong, Marikina, New Manila, Pasay, Pasig, Quezon Ave., Pampanga, Sto. Tomas and Cabanatuan.
