Mazda Philippines recently launched to the market the Mazda Tribute, its Sports Utility Vehicle (SUV) that offers Filipino car lovers the opportunity to drive an SUV with the feel of a sports car.

The Mazda Tribute delights customers with a comfortable and convenient driving experience. It carries with it the unique characteristics known to all Mazda products — distinctive design, exceptional functionality and responsive handling.

With its wide stance, longer wheelbase, quick-response steering and superb braking power, Mazda Tribute’s is certainly equipped with the handling and performance identical to a sports car, which support its stylish athletic design.

It offers styling that combines passenger-car refinement with the athletic looks of an authentic SUV, packaging that realizes abundant cabin space for five adults plus the "command" driving position, outstanding visibility, easy ingress and egress, unmatched passenger- and luggage-carrying flexibility and a power train that features a 3.0-litre V6 engine for outstanding performance. Front ventilated disc brakes and rear leading/trailing drum brakes, enhanced by four-wheel anti-lock brake system (ABS) and electronic brake force distribution system (EBD) make for excellent braking performance even with full complement of passengers and luggage.

"We take zoom-zoom to the limit here, by providing a fun-to-drive SUV that not only packs the power, but has great maneuverability as well, and is a joy to drive. Turning radius is equivalent to that of a C-D car. You have a ‘command’ drive position, which allows outstanding visibility in all directions, and you see all the corners of the Tribute as you drive. Lastly, it is easy to get in and out of the vehicle without the use of a stepboard. We’ve optimized the floor height for that," explains Tonette Lee, Mazda Philippines.

Lee adds that the Mazda Tribute belongs to a different category. With its personality and the heritage of the company that built it, the Mazda Tribute is the only SUV in the market that can provide the pleasure and the feeling of driving a sports car, packaged in an SUV.

The Mazda Tribute boasts of providing not only physical comfort with pressure-distributing seats, but also "emotional and psychical" enjoyment of motion, with the addition of a premium audio system that includes a 6-disc CD changer and a seven-speaker system. Likewise, Mazda has added a tilt-and-slide power sunroof, to heighten the enjoyment of the drive, together with a host of other features.
