Mitsubishi inaugurates its new Laguna dealership

AMCAR Automotive Corporation, the newest addition to the Mitsubishi Motors Philippines list of franchised dealers, held its inauguration ceremonies at the Greenfield Auto Mall, Greenfield City, Sta. Rosa — Tagaytay Road, Barangay Don Jose, Sta. Rosa, Laguna last February 3, 2004. AMCAR brings the total dealership outlet count of Mitsubishi Motors Philippines to 41, the largest network among all vehicle assemblers and distributors.

AMCAR President and CEO Loy S. Tayao, (formerly Vice-President for Parts and Service Operations of Mitsubishi Motors Philippines Corporation), along with AMCAR’s board of directors, Atty. Marlo Carandang, Atty. Divina Carandang, Roberto Tan, Alice Tan and Brenda Tayao led the inauguration ceremonies. Gracing the occasion in behalf of Mayor Leon Arcillas were his daughter, Arlene Arcillas-Nazareno, and other representatives from the local government of Sta. Rosa. Supporting the inauguration were guests from Mitsubishi Motors Corporation and Nissho Iwai Corporation of Tokyo, Japan headed by Yoshizumi Kurata and top executives from Mitsubishi Motors Philippines Corporation headed by President and CEO Kengo Takase and former President Teruhiko Shibata with executive committee members Yoshiaki Ichimura, Susumo Kifune, Mel Dizon and Orlando Alvarez, Jr.
