HONDA UNLEASHES CR-V WITH REALTIME 4WD

Honda Cars Philippines, Inc. recently released the 2nd generation CR-V with Realtime 4WD, dubbed as "The Comfortable 4X4", in the country’s highly competitive SUV market. Known as the most comfortable SUV in town, the second generation CR-V 4x4 lives up to its name with its famed car-like handling and drive and lush interior features, ideal for traveling within the city limits or on long-distance road adventures.

Sporting a fresh look with body-color bumpers, side protector moldings, door mirrors and handles along with a sporty body-color spare tire cover, the CR-V 4X4 will indeed conquer the roads in style. New standard fittings include fog lamps and a third brake light for enhanced safety and visibility when needed. A new exclusive alloy wheel design completes the new sportier styling of the CR-V 4X4.

With the road comfort as the main focus, the CR-V 4X4 features space and functionality with the comforts and convenience of a luxury sedan. Real adventure comes with real safety. Based on Real-World Crash Test at Honda R&D, the CR-V achieved the world’s highest level of crash safety performance. The standard four-wheel disk brake integrates ABS (anti-lock braking system) for additional security in avoiding accidents, especially when forced to make sudden stops. An added Electronic Brake force Distribution (EBD) with Brake Assist (BA) provides a good balance for brake response. Also, seat belts with pre-tensioners and dual-SRS front airbags are standard equipment in the CR-V 4X4.

The CR-V 4X4 comes in 2.0-liter Manual and Automatic transmissions in new exclusive and sporty colors Ashton Silver, Pearl white Mica, Titanium Silver Metallic and Night Hawk Black Metallic. The CR-V 4X2 is also available in 2.0 Manual and Automatic transmissions in popular colors Satin Silver Metallic, Taffeta White, Solemn Blue, Clover Green and Monte Carlo Red.
