Philippine Science High School wins Honda Quiz Challenge

Honda Cars Philippines, Inc., in line with the recent visit of ASIMO, recently held the championship round of the Honda Quiz Challenge for high school students at the Shangri-la Mall. The scope of the quiz tackled general science and some questions about Honda and ASIMO in an effort to promote science and technology among Filipino students. The questions were prepared by no less than Mr. Bong Barrameda, the Philippines’ trivia king and one of the judges of the Honda Quiz Challenge.

Two separate eliminations were held previously during ASIMO’s educational shows at the Hotel Intercontinental Manila. Participating schools included: De La Salle Santiago Zobel School, Don Bosco Technical Institute, First Asia Institute of Technology and Humanity, Grace Christian School, UP Integrated School, De La Salle Greenhills, Mapua Institute of Technology, Philippine Christian University — Science High School, and St. Benecict’s College. In the final round, Ateneo High School and Philippine Science High School faced off with the latter bagging the title of Honda Quiz Challenge Champion.
