TOTAL unveils new Auto Express in Makati

A quick stopover at any of TOTAL’s Auto Express Service outlets can be a trip worth the wait and money with TOTAL’s enhanced car check and maintenance services. While many car owners are used to simply getting the usual quick fix from other auto centers, Auto Express Service has set a new benchmark in motorized vehicle care for its customers, especially women car owners and drivers.

"The idea of Auto Express’ improved car maintenance and mechanical services is originally intended to provide ‘value-added’ service to women car owners who are meticulous about car care," says Bong Tandoc, TOTAL (Philippines) Corp. retail business manager.

This "women-friendly" car service concept of Auto Express, however, is not exclusive to women, as many male car owners will attest. It’s just that women car owners will find these add-on services more valuable to them, Tandoc explained, because they will be getting other perks in car care that are not available at other auto service centers.

Tandoc is referring to Auto Express’ new 15-point maintenance inspection package, which comes free of charge whenever a car owner avails of an Auto Express’ oil change service package.

TOTAL’s top-rate car service center offers oil change packages, ranged in affordable prices that give customers options suitable to their needs while being guaranteed of superior quality oil from TOTAL. The three different oil change packages consist of: Economy (four liters Quartz 5000) for just P750; Performance—semi-synthetic oil (four liters of Quartz 7000) for P1,500; and Excellence—fully-synthetic oil (four liters of Quartz 9000) for P2,400.

The 15-point maintenance inspection package covers tire condition and pressure check; a probe on the condition of windshield wipers, lights and indicators, brakes, suspension, battery water and terminal, radiator hose and cap, belts (except distributor), and filter. The package also includes check on the levels of brake fluid, engine oil, power steering fluid, cooling liquid, windshield washer fluid as well as battery charge rate. Aside from these maintenance checkups, there’s also the bonus of top-ups (free refill) of battery fluid, windshield washer, radiator fluid and brake fluid.

Motorists who avail of oil change services can also enjoy the luxury of having their vehicles serviced immediately with no appointment needed, as Auto Express is open daily from 7 a.m. to 7 p.m., including Sundays and holidays. TOTAL’s second branch of Auto Express Service along Kamagong Street in Makati, Tandoc added, has been steadily attracting more customers since its launch last June.
