Goodyear launches 2 new tires, warranty

Tupperware does this too; replacing for free any of its product that gets damaged. But a damaged Tupperware product may result in spilt liquid or bagoong stench in a hotel room. A damaged tire is a far more serious proposition. And expensive.

With Goodyear’s Confidence Warranty Plan though, the tiremaker makes sure things will be a lot less costly for its customers.

Offered on its ultra high-performance Eagle F1 tires, the plan includes the Road Hazard Protection and Lifetime Warranty programs.

Through this, a punctured tire that’s beyond repair or any severely damaged Eagle F1 tire will be replaced by Goodyear. Free.

And even if said damage is the result of one’s personal mistake–or stupidity.

The tire to be replaced must only be fairly new, or in Goodyear terms, must only have less than 10 percent of its tread worn out, to be replaced free of charge. If the tire is more than 10 percent worn,

Goodyear will give discount credits corresponding to what extent the tire is worn out. This warranty covers the tire on its entire tread life. However, excluded from the plan are tires damaged from faulty suspension settings.

Lifetime warranty is also offered on other Goodyear products like the Eagle NCT5 and GT3 tires, which carry five and four year plans respectively. A customer needs only to present the warranty certificate at any Goodyear Servitek dealer to avail of the services.

Meanwhile, the company also recently launched two more tires to add to their already extensive product lineup. Both incorporating
