If you think you already know enough about riding a motorcycle, well, chances are you still have a thing or two to learn. If youre not sure about it, then test your mettle at the inaugural class of the California/Australian Superbike School (Philippines) from November 16 to 17 at the Subic International Raceway.
Whether you ride a Ducati, a Honda, a Yamaha, a Kawasaki, a Harley-Davidson or even a scooter, you can learn the awesome skills of a pro like cornering in no time at all.
Cornering techniques developed by Keith Code, the world-class trainer of superbike champs such as Wayne Rainey, Doug Chandler, Scott Russell, John Kocinski and Bubba Shobert, will be taught in the Superbike School.
"The Superbike School promises to give participants more confidence and enjoyment from riding their motorcycles and learning the basic cornering tools and techniques, things like what it takes to make it right, what can go wrong and how to fix it," says Michael Chan, director of Manilabikes.com, the company responsible for bringing the California/Australian Superbike School to the Philippines.
"The Superbike School uses a system based on levels 1, 2, 3, and 4. The inaugural class this November will tackle levels 1 and 2. Everyone starting at level 1 to master 90 percent of any riders confidence problems before moving on to level 2. Level 2 teaches students to integrate visual and mental skills with the exercise learned at the first level," says Migs Ripoll, Superbike School marketing manager.
Launched last October 16 at the Eastwood City, the Superbike School treated close to 500 bikers to a smorgasbord of bikes, babes and booze. The event was supported by Shell Advance, Oakley, AXE-Unilever, PLDT, Bridgestone, Metzeler, Suomy and AGV.
And if you cant have enough of bikes, you can visit The Wonderful World of Bikes from November 8 to 9 at the Central Plaza of the Eastwood City Walk.
Organized by Meeting, Exhibitions and Event Team (MEET), the two-day event will treat visitors to a stunning display of motorcycles from off-road to standard, sports, cruiser and scooter as well as accessories and supplies. This event is supported by Manilabikes.com Inc., San Miguel Beer, Chicago Roadhouse, Country Waffles, Mobil Racing 4T, Seattles Best Coffee, Tabacalera Cigars and 105.1 Crossover.
