Frontier, still the first in AT

-
Since the Nissan Frontier entered the market almost three years ago, the local automotive industry has never been the same. The Frontier has set the standards for the most discriminating needs and wants of pickup buyers.

The Frontier remains the leading performer in innovation, quality, value, utility and safety. The first to have automatic transmission in pickups, which is available both in its 4x2 and 4x4 variants, the Frontier is truly a pickup that is a pleasure to drive.

Designed to be car-like in comfort, convenience and safety without compromising style and utility, the Frontier is the first and only diesel-engine compact pickup to have a driver’s side airbag which assures the driver of maximum protection in case of severe frontal collision.

As with every Nissan vehicle, the Frontier gives pickup buyers an assurance of high-level safety. Known as the safest pickup in the local market, the Frontier is the first to introduce the Zone Body Concept featuring both crushable and safety zones, side-impact beams, front and rear seatbelts and Load Sensing Valve for balanced braking.

Another first in the local automotive industry are the Frontier’s available engines which are the biggest in the pickup class. Its engine comes either as 2.7-liter or 3.2-liter, something which remain unsurpassed in the country.

With all these features, it is no wonder then that the Nissan Frontier has maintained its market leadership in the combined 4x2 and 4x4 double cab compact pickup segment.

The Nissan Frontier 4x2 with automatic transmission (A/T) is currently sold for P799,000 and the 4x4 A/T variant is sold for P1,005,000 at all Universal Motors Corp. dealers.
