Ambassador of Japan Koji Haneda led the conferment of industrialist Amado Tetangco Jr. into the Order of the Rising Sun, Gold and Silver Star. Held at the gracious ambassador’s elegant residence, the award was given on behalf of His Majesty Emperor Naruhito of Japan and was given in recognition of Tetangco’s invaluable contribution to strengthening the relations between Japan and the Philippines in the financial sector.
