Modern Filipiniana for a cause

Philippine Red Cross Malabon City Chapter (PRCMalabon),Under the leadership of its chairman Arturo Supangan II alongside PRC chairman and CEO Senator Richard Gordon, in cooperation with designer Renee Salud, held its 2nd Red Cross Humanity Gala at Solaire Resort and Casino in Parañaque City. Entitled Modernong Filipiniana, it was a fund-raising event in support of PRC Malabon City Chapter’s fi rst blood bank and PRC’s fi rst dialysis center. Members of the business and gover ment sectors came together in their modern takes on the Filipiniana to support this worthwhile advocacy. Supported by various non-government organizations, the fashion models paraded the beautiful gowns made of indigenous materials, showing off the unique beauty of Philippine textile.
