On sustainable island tourism

Go Negosyo, led by its founder and presidential adviser for entrepreneurship Joey Concepcion and the ASEAN Business Advisory Council (ASEAN BAC) Philippines in partnership with the Department of Tourism (DOT) and Tourism Promotions Board (TPB) together with business chambers and organizations spearheaded this year’s biggest summit on tourism and entrepreneurship which welcomed around 10,000 participants (on-site and online) at the World Trade Center in Pasay City. The summit invited top-notch international and local speak- ers to join forces in addressing the importance of the tourism industry in empowering Filipino MSMEs as well as narrowing the gap among ASEAN countries in achieving sustainable socio-economic growth in the region.
