Concepcion receives Padma Shri Award

Presidential adviser for entrepreneurship and Go Negosyo founder Joey Concepcion was joined by government officials, ambassadors, entrepreneurs, and guests from the business community in celebrating his recent achievement, the Padma Shri Award. One of the three highest awards presented annually by the president of the Republic of India, the Padma Shri Award is given to individuals for their distinguished service. “[Concepcion’s award is a] recognition by the government of India for his inspiring leadership and relentless advocacy in mentoring budding entrepreneurs as a means to achieve inclusive growth and development,” Indian ambassa- dor Jaideep Mazumdar said.
