EastWest conquers Cebu!

BUSINESS CHIC - Johnny Litton - The Philippine Star

EastWest Bank established its strong presence in Cebu with the simultaneous inauguration of 18 branches scattered all over the highly-urbanized hub of trade and commerce, health, tourism and education in the Visayas.  After the inauguration, valued guests and clients headed to the Atlantic Hall of Waterfront Cebu City Hotel and Casino for an appreciation dinner. Present during the event were EastWest president and CEO Antonio Moncupa, Jr. who led the ceremonial toast with chairman emeritus Andrew Gotianun, Sr. and chairman Jonathan Gotianun, and other senior officers. Over 600 clients came to partake of the sumptuous buffet served with lechon and wine while being serenaded by a string quartet. Prestigious and luxurious overnight accommodation packages at Crimson Resort and Spa Mactan Cebu were raffled off throughout the evening.

Meanwhile, EastWest Bank clinched eight awards in the recently-concluded 2013 Visa Performance Awards held recently at Dusit Thani Manila for its Classic Credit, Debit and Prepaid Cards. The bank won seven out of 19 core product awards given to card payment solutions.  For three years in a row, the EastWest Classic Credit Card has been named “Best Performer Visa Classic Payment Volume Growth in the Philippines.” EastWest is currently the fifth largest in the industry in terms of credit card receivables.  EastWest currently has more than 330 unibank branches nationwide

More power to EastWest Bank!
