Inc., headed by its president Peter Coyiuto, recently hosted a business forum at the Holiday Inn Makati on financial markets outlook and the taxation aspects of estate planning. The attendees, mostly entrepreneurs and business executives, benefited from the insights on the emerging European, US and Asian macroeconomic policies as well as the projections on Philippine economy particularly on the strength of the peso and investment upgrades. Peter Coyiuto was proud to report that First Life posted revenues of over P1 billion last year based on strong sales and the warm market reception of its variable or unit-linked (VUL) insurance products.  Since its initial foray into the variable life insurance market three years ago, First Life’s fund assets’ net account value per unit had gained 30.84 percent, indicating that its VUL product portfolios have been well received by its clientele. First Life has been the exclusive Philippine partner of Swiss Life, the world’s largest employee benefits network.  More power to First Life and main man Peter Coyiuto!

The National Council of Women of the Philippines Inc., through its president Philippine Red Cross governor Leonida “Baby” Ortiz, has organized a Women’s Month forum entitled “Inspiring Change…Celebrating Success” at the Maynila ballroom of the Manila Hotel. The keynote speaker was the managing director of Villar Foundation, Senator Cynthia Villar.  Here’s to the successful women who inspire change among their lot and transform the community where they live!
