A farewell fete for a diplomat

BUSINESS CHIC - Johnny Litton - The Philippine Star

Indonesian ambassador, H.E. Yohanes Kristiarto Legowo and his pretty wife madame Caecilia hosted a farewell dinner in honor of outgoing ambassador, H.E. Nguyen Vu Tu of the Socialist Republic of Vietnam and his wife madame Tran Thi Lan Hinh at the Wisma Duta. The residence of the Indonesian ambassador in North Forbes Park in Makati City was filled with close friends from the diplomatic community and good friends from the social whirl. Ambassador Vu Tu left the country after completing his tour-of-duty. It was indeed a sad moment saying our goodbyes yet the evening was fun-filled with much singing and conviviality. Everyone had a blast showing their hidden talents. Cultural Center of the Philippines president and acclaimed pianist Dr. Raul Sunico wowed the crowd as he tickled the ivories. We thank Ambassador Legowo for a lovely dinner and wish former ambassador Vu Tu only the best in his next posting!
