PLDT residential subscribers now have more reasons to rejoice with the recent launch of “Fibr,” PLDT’s most powerful broadband service using fiber-optic cables.  Kudos to PLDT chairman Manny V. Pangilinan who believes that the future of broadband service lies in fiber-optic technology. There are now more than 600 Fibr-powered villages across the country, with subscribers enjoying high-speed browsing over multiple sites, Clickplay movies on-demand, 78 Cignal Digital TV channels, and the all-new dual core Telpad.  The Fibr launch at Buddha Bar was simply dazzling, with high-tech product demonstrations, specially-designed cocktails and premium entertainment.  Seen enjoying the preview of a matchless digital home experience were PLDT president and CEO Napoleon ‘Polly’ Nazareno, PLDT executive vice president and head of Home Business Ariel Fermin, PLDT vice president and head of Home Fibr Broadband Gary Dujali, and musician and Fibr subscriber Ryan Cayabyab.  For the ultimate in high-definition voice, data and video, nothing beats Fibr!
