Cebu Pacific ties up with online shopping giants

MANILA, Philippines - Budget airline Cebu Air Inc. (Cebu Pacific) has teamed up with online shopping giants Lazada Philippines and Zalora Philippines to satisfy the Filipinos’ growing penchant for shopping.

Candice Iyog, vice president for marketing and distribution of Cebu Pacific, said the group will launch CEB Online Shopping through www.cebupacificair.com giving shoppers access to over 10,000 brands.

 â€œAfter booking their flights, Cebu Pacific passengers can now shop for travel gadgets, electronics and clothes from the comforts of their homes and offices. We hope this enhances the Cebu Pacific website experience, since guests can now also book Agoda.com hotels, arrange Europcar rentals and buy Ticketworld concert tickets all from one site,” Iyog said.

Lazada is Southeast Asia’s fastest growing online store, with presence in Thailand, Malaysia, Vietnam, Indonesia, and the Philippines. As the Philippines’ online shopping mall, Lazada offers over 20,000 consumer products, ranging from electronics, gadgets, fashion and accessories, to health and beauty categories, as well as home appliances.

Lazada Philippines managing director and co-founder Inanc Balci said the number of Filipinos shopping online is growing at a tremendous rate.
