Sweet flavors of the past and the future at Robinsons Magnolia
The 1980s was a golden decade for a lot of things, including the famed Magnolia Ice Cream House which became a favorite destination of families and friends. It was such a delight to see one of my favorite places rise once again as Robinsons Land Corp. (RLC) pays homage to the Magnolia Ice Cream House with the recent opening of Robinsons Magnolia at the corner of Aurora Boulevard and Hemady Street in Quezon City. JG Summit Holdings chairman emeritus John Gokongwei, Jr. led the opening of the newest venture with JG Summit Holdings chairman and chief executive officer James Go, JG Summit Holdings president and chief operating officer Lance Gokongwei, RLC president and chief operating officer Frederick Go, Robinsons Retail Group president and chief operating officer Robina Gokongwei-Pe, RLC commercial centers division general manager Arlene Magtibay, Quezon City mayor Herbert Bautista, RLC endorser Solenn Heussaff and Robinsons Department Store endorser Maricar Reyes. With an interesting mix of restaurants offering casual and fine dining options, famous high-end retail brands, specialty shops, four digital cinemas, a sprawling al fresco area and the revived ice cream house, Robinsons Magnolia is bound to be the newest favorite lifestyle hub for shopping, luxury, style and recreation. Wireless Internet is also available for shoppers, plus facilities for people with disabilities are just some of the top-notch services provided by Robinsons Magnolia to its valued clientele. Robinsons Magnolia is part of a mixed-use complex, where The Magnolia Residences is also set to rise. The first two towers of The Magnolia Residences are currently under construction, and we are excited to see Robinsons Land create new dimensions for the New Manila lifestyle. Congratulations to Robinsons Land for making this historical achievement!
