IWCM embraces the world of fashion

It was a dazzling evening of breathtaking fashion innovations as the Inner Wheel Club of Manila (IWCM) led by its vivacious prime movers - event co-chairman Minerva Tanseco, president Monaco consul general Fortune Ledesma and event co-chairperson Fanny Blanco, recently held a fascinating event dubbed “Fashion Expression” at the Manila Polo Club. The show featured stunning masterpieces by celebrated designers Criselda Lontok and Ben Farrales as well as stylish ensembles from SM Resort Wear, Cinderella and Rustans. Congratulations!

A fantastic Soiree Beaujolais 2010 in Manila!

The Soiree Beaujolais 2010, a much-awaited social event of the year, recently gathered members of the international and French communities as well as Manila’s glittering crowd for another fantastic celebration at the Fiesta Pavilion of the Manila Hotel. Organized by the French Chamber of Commerce in the Philippines-Le Club led by visionary president Didier Chalumeau and hardworking secretary general Henri Ortiz, the elegant affair had everyone enjoying the abundant flow of Nouveau and aged Beaujolais wines paired with an array of fine cheeses and charcuteries. This year, guests were treated to the rich cultural offerings of Brittany, from the lace and embroidery town of Pont l’Abbé “Pays Bigouden” in France. An amazing group of artists from Brittany, especially flew in to showcase the region’s colorful culture and tradition through music and dance. There was a vast selection of delectable French dishes and authentic Breton galettes and crepes that were served to the delight of the fun-loving guests. Concluding the affair was a raffling of plum prizes including fabulous jewelry pieces and two round-trip business class Manila-Paris tickets from Etihad Airways. Congratulations! See you next year!
