Citibank cards voted most trusted brand
MANILA, Philippines - Citibank has been voted the most trusted Credit Card Issuing Bank in Asia in the Reader’s Digest Trusted Brands Survey 2010. It also clinched the top spot in the Philippines, for three years in a row, as well as in Singapore, Malaysia and Taiwan.
The survey has become a signature for Reader’s Digest in Asia and globally by uncovering consumers’ attitudes on the most trustworthy brands. In Asia, 7,800 Reader’s Digest subscribers and Asian Quality consumers participated in the survey via questionnaires and telephone interviews. Respondents nominated their most Trusted Brand across 42 product categories and assigned a score for each brand based on the core qualities of trustworthiness, image credibility, quality, value, understanding consumers’ needs and ability to innovate.

In the Philippines, Citibank is acknowledged as the industry leader and has consistently won a Gold citation in this category since it was introduced in the Reader’s Digest survey.
