A wonderful thanksgiving dinner

Top echelons of the business and social community recently gathered for an intimate thanksgiving dinner at Caruso, the outstanding restaurant in Makati. Gracious Caruso owner Dario Gardini and yours truly warmly welcomed everyone to an unforgettable evening of gaiety, excellent company and great food. Amidst the cozy and romantic ambiance, well-heeled guests were royally treated to an exceptional Thanksgiving dinner replete with authentic Italian specialties such as Garganelli azzuri gamberetti (homemade pasta with shrimps and tomato sauce), Sallopine di vitello al chardonnay (veal slices with white wine sauce) and the mouthwatering Gelato della casa dessert perfectly complemented with premium vintage wines. Adding spice to the joyful affair was the impromptu musical numbers by Muebles Italiano’s Noel Gonzales, Camp John Hay’s Alfredo Yñiguez III and Alenaire’s Jun Lagman. Everyone was delighted as the fun-filled evening culminated with the raffling of fabulous prizes such as the all-Italian Splendy Spaziale bathrobe invented by Milanese entrepreneur Emilio Mina and generous gift certificates from The Bellevue Hotel, Dusit Thani Manila, Boracay Regency Beach Resort and Convention Center, Wilcon Builders, Sea Wind and Seair. What a fantastic gathering! Cheers! (Caruso Ristorante Italiano is located at LRI Building, Bel Air, Makati, for inquiries, call 895-2451)
