Luxury for the environment

The marriage of comfort and eco-friendliness came into fruition when CATS Motors, Inc., Philippine general distributor of Mercedes-Benz, recently launched the first luxury hybrid car in the Philippines and first in Asia with partners Mastercard and Allied Bank in the Mercedes-Benz Global City showroom.

Led by CATS Motors chairman Greg Yu, president Felix Ang and PR director Emy Arcilla, guests were in awe of the new Mercedes-Benz S400 Hybrid, a vehicle that runs on both gasoline and electric motor.

As the inventor of the automobile, Mercedes-Benz prides itself with the greatest possible comfort and trailblazing innovations. “We, at CATS, are looking forward to bringing in more eco-friendly vehicles in the RP market. We find delight in giving our discerning customers a lot of world-class options to suit their needs and personal preferences. We are elated in being one with Mercedes-Benz in its commitment to the environment and to emission-free mobility,” CATS Motors president Felix Ang proudly states.

According to Mercedes-Benz Hybrid Cars Specialist Andrew Ridsdale, “this vehicle is not only the first German series-produced hybrid but the world’s first hybrid model equipped with innovative lithium-ion technology, as well.”
