The premiere address to paradise
Truly becoming known as a world-class luxe destination, The Boracay Regency Beach Resort and Convention Center, one of the country’s fastest-expanding triple-A rated resort in island paradise Boracay, once again marvelled veritable who’s who in society as it recently inaugurated the posh and well-appointed 7-storey Boracay Regency Corporate Center at 1212 A. Mabini in Manila. Envisioned by Boracay Regency chairman and president Henry Chusuey, the new and resplendent Corporate Center aims to efficiently respond to clients as well as showcase the resort’s new features including the scheduled inauguration of Boracay Regency Lagoon which will soon house additional well-appointed rooms and facilities. The newly-inaugurated center will also serve as the headquarter office of the resort’s future properties and developments. Seen gracing the well-attended affair were former senate president Franklin Drilon, Senator Bong Revilla, Federation of Filipino-Chinese Chambers of Commerce & Industry Inc (FFCCCII) president doctor Alfonso Uy and wife Agnes Uy, FFCCCII honorary president Robin Sy, Department of Tourism undersecretary Oscar Palabyab, Allied Bank Corporation vice chairman Willy Co, Dante Go and La Isla publisher Timmy Tan among many others. Congratulations!
Calamba gets a Builders’ boost
Keeping up with its commitment of providing superior quality home-building products and excellent services, Wilcon Builders’ Depot – Calamba, the company’s 20th outlet, was recently launched with much fanfare. Spearheaded by philanthropist Wilcon president and chief executive officer William Belo and executive vice president and chief operating officer Rose Bosch Ong, a diverse gathering of Laguna’s A-listers witnessed the simple celebration which was steered by Wilcon’s on-going green campaign. Congratulations!
Cultural quest
In wanting to further provide maximum exposure to cultural and heritage concerns, the special events committee of the Friends for Cultural Concerns of the Philippines (FCCP) led by its president Minerva Tanseco took its members to participate in the European Union Day Festival at the Far Eastern University. An astonishing exhibit featuring significant information on the Czech Republic as well as a choral competition were some of the main features while a lecture on heritage was delivered by professor Toti Villalon. It was a truly educational day. Cheers!
