In times of crisis, businessmen get a new start with Tronix Evo3

MANILA, Philippines - Ronald Rosales, a businessman from General Santos City, is into food carts. In fact, he already has four outlets in five years. Though the business is doing well, like most businessmen, he is feeling the crunch of the economic crisis. He feels that he needed to act fast and find new ways to earn and venture into a more profitable business.

“Since I was constantly looking for a new business to engage in, I was always on the lookout for opportunities. When I am in the malls, I was always amazed to see the queue of people having their pictures printed at Tronix Imaging Center in Gaisano Cagayan de Oro and in Davao City. So I checked what this machine is all about and I was impressed with what I saw,” Mr. Rosales said, who is now currently into the digital photo printing business himself.

Tronix Evo3, a digital photo printing machine, can print photos from any digital media (memory cards, SD cards, USB flash drives, CD’s) or even from cellphones via Bluetooth or infrared. It uses CIS (Continuous Ink System) for cheaper material costs yet tested with high quality inks and papers to make the printouts more vivid and last longer. It is used by 140 branches of Tronix Imaging Centers nationwide.

“The Tronix Evo3 software is really designed to aid entrepreneurs in their business. It can generate reports on sales and prints made. It is designed also for large volume printing. So even if there are a lot of people lined up in our stores, we could always accommodate them. They don’t have to wait long for their pictures to be printed. Tronix Evo3 prints it fast, easy and affordable,” added Rosales.

Rosales opened up his first digital printing store in Fitmart Bldg in General Santos in 2007. Now, he owns six Evo3 units located in General Santos City and Koronadal City.

Teodoro Uy of Caloocan City also benefited from the features of the Tronix Evo 3 machine. He was also impressed with the machine’s reliability. Just like Rosales, he manages a salon and spa outlets in Caloocan City, which is a totally different business line. Curious as to why people flock at Tronix Imaging Centers near his place, he saw the business opportunity he has been waiting for.

When asked why he had chosen to invest in a digital photo printing business, he said: “Tronix Evo3 machine is very much affordable and easy to operate. Material cost per print is lower and photo processing is a lot faster. With lower material costs, we can sell prints at a very affordable price. This suits our target market, which are the students,” said Uy.
