MANILA, Philippines - In celebration of 25 years as one of the leading drivers of education in the country, Diwa Learning Systems Inc. presents a comprehensive plan to assist and train 25 schools from Batangas through project “GLADIS” or Greater Lipa Academic Development Initiative for High School Students.
On top of that, five more campuses were added to the list, to be funded by Diwa executives themselves.
Project GLADIS will be implemented by First Asia Institute of Technology (FAITH). Initial project phase is for three years, which can be extended for a fourth and fifth year should the program evaluation translate very encouraging results.
Program components for each sponsored school include a four-year scholarship and a two-year scholarship at FAITH, annual principal’s fund of P10,000, free college entrance exams in selected schools in Metro Manila and other areas, free entrance review classes, complimentary use of FAITH’s library, conference and sports facilities and participation in FAITH/BBFI Teacher Training Programs.
Lucky students from the chosen schools will also be granted the chance to further their learning as tutorials will be duly provided for, such as Pathways to Higher Education program for 60 students: 20 students each from the 2nd, 3rd and 4th year levels. Educational and e-learning materials from Diwa and iDiwa will also be given.
