Monterey equips newest frontliners
Monterey Foods Corp. (MFC) recently finished training this year’s second batch of participants in its franchisee program for Monterey Meatshop at Legend Villas Hotel in Mandaluyong. As the month-long program drew to a close, MFC heads went in full force to inspire its new sets of frontliners.
Monterey General Manager (OIC) Doc Leo Obviar shared key ingredients for growing businesses. He affirmed the integral role of customer service in keeping customers coming back to the shops. He stressed, “customers are buying not just meat products they are also buying an experience in buying meat.”
Recognizing the top trainees together with Obviar were Arthur Juan, San Miguel Foods, Inc (SFMI) president, and Alfredo De Ocampo, National Sales manager. They also had formal signing of contracts with the new franchisees from Southwoods in San Pedro, Laguna,
Thirty-nine franchisees and franchise personnel were immersed in training, where they learned critical success factors in franchise operations such as excellent customer service, cash management and continuous training and communication.
Jake Lugay, SMFI Business Development and Training manager noted the importance of the training, “we equip our frontliners with tools to make their businesses successful.”
He added, “It is also our way of assuring our customers of quality products and service. They will carry the name of
