Indefatigable mom stirs beauty and wellness firm to success

Driven by a desire to augment her income in order to provide the best for her family, an indefatigable mother of five ventured into all sorts of business. And though she was already making good as an insurance sales executive, she didn’t let the opportunity pass when a chemist introduced to her an idea about a cosmetic formula.

Relying on her intuition, she enthusiastically commissioned the chemist, a pharmacist and a dermatologist to start with the research, development and testing of the products. After proving its efficacy on various individuals with different skin textures and dermatological problems and implementing revisions on the formulation, the products ultimately attained perfection in 2005.

She has since then considered to source out their raw materials from the United Kingdom, Germany, Austria, China and the US, aside from the active ingredients found and produced locally.

This development gave birth to Beauche skin care products. Beauche was coined from the name of Conchita “Che” delos Reyes, the simple hard-working mother, now the president and chief executive officer of Beauche International, a beauty and wellness firm.

Backed up by her selling skills and wonderful products, delos Reyes poured it all out  — energy, expertise, dedication — in introducing her beauty products.

 In just a few months, the products gained wide acceptance and prominence among the flight crews of the Philippine Air Lines, as well as employees of respectable banking institutions, telecommunications, hotels and resorts, government and private employees and even endorsed by dermatologists and medical doctors nationwide.

Soon, sales offices were established in Bohol, Cebu, Davao, Cavite, Cagayan de Oro and Naga to meet the growing demands for the products. It was when satisfied customers became distributors themselves that Beauche started gaining patronage in Hong Kong, Japan, Abu Dhabi, Dubai, Australia, Canada, New Zealand and the US, fulfilling delos Reyes’ purpose-driven vision to gain a niche in the international market.

With these phenomenal gains, the energetic Beauche chief executive dreamt of putting up her own manufacturing plant. And after only a year of dedicated hard work, the company inaugurated its own multi-million plant and laboratory in Bucal, Sampaloc 2, Dasmariñas, Cavite.

Beauche’s remarkable line of skin care products promises a “new you” (a suppler, clearer, whiter and younger skin) in just a week’s time. Hypoallergenic, Beauche products range from skin toner, beauty bar soap, carrot soap, papaya kojic soap, anti-microbial and gluta soap, clarifying lotion, exfoliating cream and rejuvenating cream and age eraser cream.

Beauche International has gained tremendous leaps in the beauty and wellness industry that in just a span of five months, the Bureau of Food and Drugs (BFAD), has upgraded its License to Operate (LTO) from a cosmetic trader to a toll manufacturer of cosmetic and non-cosmetic products. As of the second quarter of 2007, the company takes pride to have accredited over 1,000 dealers serving over half-a-million users here in the Philippines and abroad.

Today, Beauche International is one of the most promising beauty and wellness product developers in the Philippines. It envisions to be the leader in the skin care industry and wellness industry by the year 2010.
