Say it with flowers....

Demand for cut flowers in the country is rising rapidly. Thanks to a multi-million peso industry called "weddings," the industry continues to flourish.
Due to the creative talents of florists and a very progressive flower industry, today’s bride has unlimited choices when it comes to choosing her wedding bouquet, as well as flower arrangements for the church and the reception.
Robert Blancaflor, Henry Pascual, and Tony Rodriguez are more than just florists. They style important events such as weddings and debuts and using their creativity, "direct" the ambiance of these special occasions. They all agree that flowers set the tone and mood of the ceremony.
Blancaflor, known as the event stylist to the rich and famous, including movie stars and socialites; Pascual, the Philippines’ top ambiance director; and Rodriguez, whose elegant creations are sought after by those with impeccable taste, know how to say it with flowers. Love, after all, comes in many colors.
Red flowers, for example, are not for the faint-hearted. The color is perfect for couples who proudly express their love for each other. White flowers are for classic and elegant weddings. Pink flowers are fresh, sweet, and feminine. Pink is ideal for young couples. Orange flowers are for the unconventional wedding. Orange is the best choice for an outdoor wedding.
But for Blancaflor, Pascual, and Rodriguez, it’s not just about the colors. The key to styling events is creativity. The three stylists make it a point to understand the client’s personality and come up with something to suit it.
Wedding Expo Philippines, the biggest and most comprehensive event of its kind in the Philippines, brings together the three top stylists under one roof on March 10 to 11 at The PICC Complex, Cultural Center of the Philippines. Blancaflor’s genius can be seen at the main exhibit hall in Forum 2; Pascual will show off his creations at Forum 3; and Rodriguez introduces his 2007 forecast in Forum 1. Special lounges in strategic spots within the venue have been designed by the three stylists to serve as rest areas for prospective brides and grooms during Wedding Expo Philippines’ 10th staging.
Blancaflor, Pascual, and Rodriguez are three of the over 300 exhibitors during the two-day event. Other suppliers are fashion designers, banquet caterers, limousine providers, souvenir makers, fireworks manufacturers, cake artists, musicians and entertainers, coordinators and planners, event venues, jewelers, among others. Wedding Expo Philippines is the launch venue of choice of the wedding industry and it is where the latest trends are unveiled.
