Jollibee Foods Corp. and the Ramon V. del Rosario, Sr. AIM Center for Corporate Responsibility (AIM-RVR Center) recently inked an agreement to formalize its partnership in bringing the 5th Asian Forum on Corporate Social Responsibility (AFCSR) to Manila at the Crown Plaza Hotel recently.

The AFCSR aims to promote new standards and ideas on CSR as a key strategy in addressing public needs. At the same time, it aims to build a network of CSR practitioners across Asia with its theme: Harnessing CSR for Development and Democracy.

"The corporate values of Jollibee like spirit of family and fun, excellence through teamwork, honesty and integrity, and humility to listen and learn also apply in CSR. We hope to share these values so that the best practices of Jollibee can be passed on to the community," shares Jollibee Foundation president, Grace Tan Caktiong. The Jollibee Foundation is the socio-civic arm of Jollibee Foods Corp. Among its key programs is a partnership with Gawad Kalinga in building homes for indigent Filipino families in Las Piñas and Bontoc, Southern Leyte; and a scholarship program for disavantaged youth in partnership with the Don Bosco Technical College.
