Ayala hosts 6th young leaders congress

This being its sixth year, there weren’t any surprises during the recently held National Ayala Young Leaders Congress. Ayala Corp.’s number one and number two, Jaime Augusto Zobel de Ayala II and Fernando Zobel de Ayala, led the top level contingent from the Ayala Group, which included senior managing director and general counsel Mercedita Nolledo and Ayala Foundation Inc. president Victoria Garchitorena.

Favorite University of Philippines professors Solita Collas-Monsod and Randolf David were back.

Since this year’s theme was "Leadership for Nation Building", the congress was opened by former President Aquino, who (like the other speakers) gamely answered and interacted with 75 student leaders. The students came from all over the country whose airfare and expenses were wholly subsidized by the Ayala Group. –MJGrey
