ADFIAP honors Estanislao

Although named this years distinguished person awardee by the Association of Development Financing Institutions in Asia and the Pacific early this year, the busy schedule of former Finance Secretary Jesus Estanislao only cleared up for the formal awarding last month.
Dr. Estanislao was cited for his achievements in development banking as former chairman and chief executive officer of the Development Bank of the Philippines and as founding dean of the Asian Development Bank Institute in Japan as well as for his current advocacy of corporate governance as founding president of both the Institute of Corporate Directors and the Institute for Solidarity in Asia.
The award was presented by ADFIAP vice-chairman Jesus Tambunting and secretary-general Orlando Pena. MJGrey
