Ayala, Greenfield honor golf architect

Ayala Land, Inc. chairman Fernando Zobel de Ayala and Greenfield Development Corp. chief executive officer Joselito Campos recently threw a party for well-known golf architect Robert Trent Jones, Jr., who designed the 18-hole all-weather course of Ayala Greenfield Estates. ALI and Greenfield are partners in the Calamba, Laguna project.

The Estates likes to describe itself as the country’s only true golf community because a golf share goes with the sale of each lot. As with other Bobby Jones-designed golf courses–more than 200 golf courses in 38 countries and counting–this course preserves the character of the natural setting while providing a challenge for serious golfers.

Golf widows and orphans can either watch daddy from the clubhouse or use the facilities of the leisure club such as the spa and wellness center, the multi-sports gym or the kiddie playground. –MJGrey
