Sun Life adopts more scholars

MANILA, Philippines - Sun Life Financial  – Philippines Foundation Inc. has expanded its scholarship program for BS Accountancy and BS Information Technology to the students of Fr. Saturnino Urios University in Butuan. The scholars also have the option to work in any Sun Life branch during their summer or semestral break so that they could apply their knowledge and be exposed to an office environment. To date, there are now over 40 Sun Life Foundation scholars. Sun  Life  Foundation  is  also working with Children’s Hour to finance the construction  of  120  classrooms  and basketball courts in areas that were affected  by  Super Typhoon Yolanda and the Bohol earthquake in 2013; and is also supporting  close  to  200  students  of  the University of the Philippines Tacloban, who are now continuing their education in UP Cebu. Sun  Life  Financial-Philippines Foundation is the philanthropy arm of Sun Life of Canada (Philippines) Inc.
