Manulife Phl opens branches in Bohol, Negros Occidental

The Philippine Star

MANILA, Philippines - Manulife Philippines has opened two branch offices in the Visayas, expanding the company’s nationwide branch network to 30.

Manulife opened branch offices in Tagbilaran City in Bohol and in Dumaguete City in Negros Occidental.

“Manulife Philippines has more than doubled the number of its branches in less than three years, further underlining its strength as a reliable insurance partner,” Indren Naidoo, Manulife president and chief executive officer, said.

From 12 branch offices in 2009, namely those in the cities of Bacolod, Baguio, Binondo, Cagayan de Oro, Calamba, Cebu, Dagupan, Davao, Pasig, Iloilo, Malolos, and Makati head office, Manulife has opened 16 more branch offices in less than three years.

These are the Manulife Learning and Development Center in Makati and other branches located in Alabang in Muntinlupa City, Old Manila (Escolta), Quezon Avenue in Quezon City, Santiago City in Isabela, Sta. Rosa City in Laguna, Angeles City in Pampanga, Cabanatuan City in Nueva Ecija, Lipa City in Batangas, Tacloban City, General Santos City, Iligan City, Banawe Avenue in Quezon City, Zamboanga City, Balanga City in Bataan, and Batangas City.

The growth of its branch network parallels that of Manulife’s agency force. From over 1,200 agents in 2009, the number of licensed insurance advisers tripled in less than three years. That concretely translates to more people helping Manulife help more Filipinos secure their future.

“Through our forward-thinking initiatives, Manulife remains committed to provide strong and reliable protection, wealth, savings, education and health solutions to secure the futures of more and more Filipino families across the nation,” Naidoo added.
