MANILA, Philippines - Citi was named best Southeast Asia financial advisor for 2012 in the annual awards from the FT’s Mergermarket Group. The award is for advisory services to institutional clients covering mergers and acquisitions [M&A]. The winners were selected with data from Mergermarket Group’s M&A deal flow data, mandates and valuations intelligence provider. The data was then used to rank financial advisers according to announced deals during the qualifying period. “The Southeast Asia region is home to a growing base of emerging corporate champions who want access to capital and advisory services to support their global ambitions.
