RBAP tackles anti-money laundering

MANILA, Philippines - The Rural Bankers Association of the Philippines (RBAP) will conduct a seminar on money laundering on Feb. 6, and credit risk management at the RBAP head office in Intramuros. Bangko Sentral ng Pilipinas (BSP) deputy director Mel Georgie B. Racela will lecture on money laundering with special focus on BSP Circular 706 or the Updated AML Rules and Regulations. Meanwhile, Celenita V. Francisco will discuss credit risk management tools including the analysis, validation and reconstruction of financial statement.
