China Bank Savings offers loan packages

- The Philippine Star

MANILA, Philippines - China Bank Savings is enhancing its loan offerings by giving customers premium items with every loan. The promos come amid a marked increase in overall bank lending, with more Filipinos starting to invest in credit card, automotive and “other” bank loans.

China Bank Savings Lending Group head Emmanuel S. Santiago said that banks are now open more flexible loans for customers.

“The goal for China Bank Savings is to continuously expand its loan offerings so that our customers get the most out of their loan,” Santiago added.

The Easi-Drivin’ Easi-Treats Auto Loan promo, which runs until Sept. 30, allows customers to get an Easi-Treat free giveaway of their choice for every car loan availed.

Giveaways include an LG Flat Screen TV, free overnight hotel accommodation with breakfast, a free buffet meal for 10 persons at Vikings, or a Blackberry Curve 8520.

On the other hand, the Easi-Livin’ Easi-Lifestyle Home Loan, which runs until Dec. 31, offers SM Gift Pass certificates to customers who avail of CBS’ home loan.

Gift certificate amount varies depending on the amount of loan. Personal loans are also available for employed or self-employed individuals in the form of China Bank Savings Easi-Funds.

A monthly report by the Bangko Sentral ng Pilipinas (BSP) stated that the banking industry has increased its lending percentage to 14.9 percent last June, with consumer loans recording a growth of 15.8 percent.

The report also indicated a specific increase in consumer loans under household consumption amounting to P238.48 billion, with automotive loans covering P76.66 billion. This increase has led to local banks beefing up their loan portfolios to make such investments more accessible to consumers.
