Another award for Security Bank

MANILA, Philippines - Prestigious publication Finance Asia has named Security Banking Corp. as the Philippines “Best Mid-Cap Company.” Security Bank president and chief executive officer Alberto S. Villarosa said, “This latest award validates our efforts to consistently deliver excellence in all aspects of our service and operations.” Recently, the bank received the Cesar EA Virata Award as the “Best Securities House” for the seventh consecutive year during the 2012 Philippine Dealing System Group Annual Awards. In its annual stockholders meeting last month, Villarosa reported that the bank exceeded its targets for gaining a 25-percent return on equity and registering a net income of P6.7 billion.
