Citi ups BPO seats, facilities

MANILA, Philippines - Citi is expanding its business process outsourcing (BPO) operations in the country. Citigroup Business Process Solutions (CBPS) inaugurated two new floors at its Makati headquarters, bringing close to 300 additional seats and upgraded facilities. With almost 1,600 employees, staff retention at CBPS is also at an all-time high. It boasts of an all-Filipino management team leading critical programs for international Citi customers. CBPS was set up in July 2004 as an integral part of Citigroup’s overall business strategy to create global “Centres of Excellence” that provide superior quality and best in class service to Citi customers around the world. Today, 98 percent of CBPS operations serves international Citi customers in North America and Asia Pacific.
