Rural bankers regional confab this month

MANILA, Philippines - The Rural Bankers Association of the Philippines-Microenterprise Access to Banking Services (RBAP-MABS) will be holding its annual regional roundtable conference for rural banks based in Luzon and Visayas on Nov. 9, at the Hyatt Hotel and Casino, Pedro Gil corner M.H. Del Pilar, Malate, Manila, and for Mindanao rural banks on Nov. 16 in Davao City. The Regional Roundtable in Manila is being held back to back with the annual RBAP Symposium. This year’s theme, “MABS Participating Banks: Moving Forward into the Future”, with discussions on pricing transparency, microfinance credit bureau, strategic partnerships, savings mobilization, micro-insurance, and mobile banking technology.
