Sterling Bank introduces re-loadable gift card

-

MANILA, Philippines - Sterling Bank of Asia has enhanced its ShopNPay Gift card by allowing the gift card purchaser to send the card to his/her intended card recipient via pick-up from any Sterling Bank branch or via Sterling Bank’s accredited courier.

With the enhancement, existing and potential clients will have access to a fast, secured and convenient way of sending money to their loved ones in any part of the country at a fraction of the cost of traditional domestic money transfers.

ShopNPay Gift Card is a re-loadable, multi-purpose stored value card that can be loaded over the counter at any Sterling Bank branch nationwide. Money can also be transferred to the gift card from any BancNet account using the fund transfer facility at any BancNet-member banks’ ATMs.

It is a convenient and cost effective way for parents to send allowance to their children far away. While for those working in the metro or other parts of the country, they can easily send money to their relatives for their monthly expenses using the stored-value card.

Loading money to the card via over-the-counter costs only P20 per load regardless of the load amount. The money loaded to the card can be withdrawn free of charge in any Sterling Bank ATM. It can also be used when making purchases at any Visa and BancNet accredited merchant. It can also be used to pay for utility bills through any Bancnet-member banks’ ATMs or through BancnetOnline (http://www.bancnetonline.com).
