Prulife starts financial literacy program

-

MANILA, Philippines - Prudential Corporation Asia will join hands with Cartoon Network, for a financial literacy program across seven markets in Asia. The multi-million dollar program will include the Philippines, as well as Hong Kong, Indonesia, Malaysia, Singapore, Thailand and Vietnam. Core to the multi-media program is the broadcast of a new series of animated television segments on Cartoon Network in early September for children aged seven to 12. In addition, the pan-Asia program will include an interactive website with extensive digital resources for children, parents and educators to reinforce money management concepts and themes. This is the first time an animated musical series was created specifically to focus on financial literacy in Asia. It will adopt an “edutainment” approach with an aim to teach children four fundamental money management concepts in a fun and entertaining way: earn, save, spend and donate.
