Plantersbank upgrades credit systems

-

MANILA, Philippines - The Planters Development Bank (Plantersbank) is upgrading its automated SME Credit processes. This project hopes to move Plantersbank to the “next level.” In a statement, Plantersbank chairman and chief executive officer Jesus P. Tambunting said: “Automating as much of our SME credit processes would lead to a more efficient credit flow, better turnaround time, higher productivity, closer monitoring of loan generation and ultimately, a healthier loan portfolio.” The project, dubbed corporate loan origination system (LOS), will be the top priority information technology project for the year, targeted to be fully operational by the end of 2011. 3i Infotech Asia Pacific, a leading provider of IT products and services in the banking, financial services and insurance (BFSI) industry, and its local partner QSI Systems, was tapped for the implementation of the said system.
