DBP gets regional award anew

MANILA, Philippines - Due to its major financial and technical support for Camarines Sur (CamSur), the Association of Development Financing Institutions in Asia and the Pacific (Adfiap) gave the local economic development award to the Development Bank of the Philippines (DBP). DBP chief operating officer Edgardo F. Garcia, who received the award at the formal awarding ceremonies held recently in Kyrenia, North Cyprus, said the bank gave the local government of CamSur credit support to finance various infrastructure projects designed to boost tourism, trade, community services as well public schools, day care centers, public markets, drainage and water systems.
