Malayan names new executive

MANILA, Philippines - Malayan Insurance Co. Inc. has named Joel T. Almagro as the new executive vice president for underwriting & sales-Metro Manila following his nearly six-year position as its chief underwriting officer. Almagro, who has held various executive positions within his 23 years of service in Malayan, now extends his expertise to plan, lead and organize key activities for the further development of the company’s underwriting division, strategic business units, Metro Manila sales units and licensing services.
