Citi names new pension services head

MANILA, Philippines - The Citigroup has named Vanessa Wang as Pension Services head of Asia Pacific. Vanessa will be responsible for growing Citi’s business in the Pensions and Endowments sectors across Asia Pacific in the 18 markets that Citi operates in the region. Vanessa will work closely with product partners and other businesses within Citi in Asia Pacific – including the Consumer Bank, Global Banking and Global Markets – to help identify new business opportunities and develop solutions for pension funds that utilize the full capabilities of the Citi franchise in the region. Pension funds are one of the largest and fastest growing pools of capital in Asia, increasing by an average of 20 percent in the last five years across the Asia Pacific markets, according to Citi research.
