Former Philamlife executive named new insurance commissioner
MANILA, Philippines - The Department of Finance has appointed lawyer Emanuel L. Dooc as the new commissioner of the Insurance Commission.
Dooc is expected to take over the reins from acting Commissioner and incumbent Deputy Commissioner Vida Chiong in January 2011.
