BPI, OWWA support OFWs

MANILA, Philippines - The Bank of the Philippine Islands (BPI) and the Overseas Workers Welfare Association (OWWA) are committed to support overseas Filipinos while they are away from home, have joined together in empowering Filipino families through a holistic financial literacy and values education program, the BPInoy Learning Program.

Through the BPInoy Learning Program, BPI provides the overseas Filipinos and their families a venue to prepare themselves on financial challenges by imparting lessons on financial discipline, ways of remitting money, and saving remittances.

As part of the BPInoy Learning Program, BPI and OWWA hosted a BPInoy Reality Show, a light and fun day of financial wellness for OWWA-NCR members at the Trade Hall of Star Mall EDSA.

BPI sustains its BPInoy Learning Program, an initiative to educate overseas Filipinos on matters beyond banking such as investing, growing a business, and handling long-distance family communications.

BPI also organizes the BPInoy Awards and the Search for Ten Outstanding Expat Pinoy Children in recognition and support to overseas Filipinos who are to make a change for the country despite the distance.
