Sun Life is named 'most trusted'

MANILA, Philippines - Sun Life Assurance Co. of Canada was voted as the “Most Trusted Life Insurance Co.” in Canada based on a Harris/Decima poll commissioned by Reader’s Digest for its 2010 Trusted Brand awards program.

The Harris/Decima poll provided respondents with a list of product categories, one of which was life insurance, and asked them to indicate, unprompted, which brand they trusted most. The poll was conducted Oct. 2 through 15, 2009. The program is used to determine consumer attitudes and opinions related to 28 specific brand categories and to recognize the “most trusted” brand in each of those categories.

This initiative has expanded quickly since it was first launched in Asia in 2000, and is currently active in 28 countries across the world. Product quality, customer service and brand experience scored high among poll respondents who chose Sun Life as their most trusted brand of life insurance.
